Last night I wen’t out alone. My challenge for this year is to get a good picture of the milky way. Last night I wen’t for it. I used the Photopills app for planning this picture. The plan had a few flaws. I did not know the spot, never been there before. That’s absolutely not nice when you are going there at night.

Arrival on the spot

When I arrived at the spot I could not see a thing. I got out of my car and only then I realized there was a very strong wind. I started putting everything together. Setup my tripod, camera and natural night filter. I tried out many settings and this is the result of the cold night:
